I have been asked many times why I don’t display my art at Jazz Fest or have an Art Opening ETC..., and well the answer is quite simple, I want to be free to enjoy the same things ya’ll are, without strings attached.. That being said, I have somewhere better for you to see my work in person , my studio and gallery located in the Bywater (5 minutes from the french quarter) 725 Montegut St. All you have to do is call me 504-201-2202 or email me, jerry@nativeorleanian.com, to set up an appointment anytime, I’d love to have you over, and this way you have access to my complete catalog and will surely be able to hand pick the art you want. This way you can concentrate on the music, food and our wonderful culture while you are out and about the city. So don’t hesitate to contact me, I’ll get back to you asap to set your personal appointment. While you are out enjoying the city, my work is prominently on display around town at FQ ACME Oyster House Banquet Room, Whiskey Blue in the W on Poydras, New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Restaurants , Village Coffee Uptown, Louisiana Music Factory, Great Artist Collective on Royal St. d.b.a. on Frenchmen St. , and the NOLA Brewery pub on Tchoupitoulas. My catalog consists of all things culturaly significant to New Orleans , from the music to the street culture , to the beautiful architecture and more.......so welcome to my home, and yes I am a native New Orleanian .....I’ll see you around town over the next few weeks and beyond, I’m the one with the camera...;-)Even if you just need some advice on where to go feel free to call or email and I’ll point you in the right
direction...........Happpy Jazz Fest!!!!!! Jerry ;-) Quite simply, my first love is and always has been the culture and heritage of New Orleans. I have been an enthusiast and supporter of the New Orleans music scene since the early 80’s and have not missed a single day of Jazz Fest in over 25 years. My life has always been enriched by the culture of my home in too many ways to list. I have often thought if everyone could get just a little of what I experience when engaged by the rhythms, culture and architecture of this city, the world would be a better place. It’s that cathartic experience some of us have when engaged by our music where you lose an awareness of reality and become immersed in the moment. It doesn’t matter if it’s jazz, blues, gospel, funk, or a combination of them all (and there are more as you well know), one always winds up in that same beautiful place. While using photography as a vehicle, my passion and mission is to capture the essence of those moments and emotions as experienced only through the eyes of a Native Orleanian.Soooo,
Welcome to the Native Orleanian Fine Photography's new web store! This is the sister website to www.NativeOrleanian.com where the majority of my published work resides, please visit there also if you haven't already....and enjoy! I am in the process presently of populating the store with available work, so if you don't see what you are looking for here, trust me, I have it, just send me a request and or visit the .com site. That being said, I have been trying to find a vehicle to sell and display my photography for about 2 years now.......One that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate, while not diminishing the quality of the images that are on display. I think I have finally found the solution here and I hope you like what you see!Additionally, almost all of the images are offered autographed by the musician for the extra $75 charge, of which 100% goes directly to the musician. If you prefer, just call me and we can talk over the phone and I can create your own links with preferred pics to choose from. Enjoy the pics and keep checkin back!!
If you are unfamiliar with the canvas format and are interested in what the canvases actually look like, there are many examples on my website at this link.Enjoy the pics and please give me feedback!!!IThanks,JerryMEDIA BOILER PLATE
