Darcy Malone and the Tangle The Nick Rocks 10-24-15

A couple of weeks ago had the distinct pleasure documenting a weekend with
Darcy Malone and the Tangle. First stop, Friday at Tips, second stop Saturday night at “The Nick Rocks” a “STAPLE” in Birmingham's music scene for over 30 years........with its colorful and significant history plastered all over the walls and ceiling. Needless To say, I felt very much at home in the joint even before the bands started. DMT played first and were fantastic......... Afterwards we hung around for the other 2 bands, Willie and the Giant and Gabriel Tajeau, both of which were thoroughly enjoyable. Three incredibly talented bands/artists putting on solid shows......I’ll have to say, It's been a long time since I've seen three bands that were so different under the same roof, all tattooing the audience with their music!
