Another year in the books for Mardi Gras with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux with the Golden Eagle Mardi Gras Indians and friends!! Always love watchin Monk come out on Mardi Gras Day, Sooooo Pretty!!! singin “Indian Red” to the masses in front of his house. As usual we all proceeded with Monk to Second and Dryades where we met up with the multitudes of Mardi Gras Indians that had converged there all afternoon. After a couple hrs of dancin in the streets and checkin out all the pretty Big Chiefs meeting up, we started the trek back, led by Rueben a couple blocks ahead......Monk treated us to a wicked version of “Shotgun Joe” on the way back home.....We arrived back at Monks to the sweet smokey aromas in the air and feasted on Monks killer bbq!
