Shannon McNally's “Small Town Talk”, The Songs of Bobby Charles produced by Mac Rebennack was released last month. I have been listening to this CD over the past couple weeks numerous times without tiring of it in the least, I only wish I could have been in the studio with them while recording along with meeting Bobby Charles before he left us.......What a truly amazing songwriter the man was.....the “truths” of his lyrics are almost Shakespearian in a modern way, as it relates to our “human condition”, along with Shannon's beautiful delivery of the songs, arrangements by Wardell Quezergue, and Mac's fingerprints throughout, “Small Town Talk” is nothing less than a modern masterpiece in my eyes. This is one CD that everyone should have in their personal catalog, you'll just have to trust me on that. Needless to say, I was and am honored to have been a part of this project. Shannon is on the road supporting the CD presently, you can find the dates on her site, http://www.shannonmcnally.com/ , you should definetely catch this show. ©2005-2013 Jerry Moran Native Orleanian LLC More pics and a musical slideshow can be seen at http://www.nativeorleanian.org/clients_published
