A couple weeks ago on another beautiful evening at Harvest the Music in Lafayette Square a large crowd was treated to one of the hottest sets I have seen with the North Mississippi Allstars. The Allstars led by Luther Dickinson and joined throughout the evening by the likes of Alvin Youngblood Hart, Lightnin Malcolm, Big Sam Williams, and Johnny Vidacovich.....a good part of the evening all at once. Theres just somethin about this band playin against a beautiful sunset and surrounded by live oaks that takes it to a whole nother level.......Sadly, Cody Burnside had passed away unexpectedly that day and it was reflected in the intensity the show took on later in the set when joined by Lightnin Malcolm. Amazing show....... ©2005-2012 Jerry Moran Native Orleanian LLC More images and a musical slideshow can be seen at at http://www.nativeorleanian.org/north_mississippi_allstars_harvest_the_music
