The Original Meters reunited for a special show at Orpheum Theater over the weekend, which was a must see for me, just like the one I attended back in the 80’s on Tulane Ave. at the Riverboat Alleluia. Art Neville, Leo Nocentelli, Zigaboo Modeliste and George Porter Jr. were joined throughout the evening by Ivan Neville, Khris Royal, Tracy Griffin, Jeff Albert and Clarence Johnson III smokin through the Meters catalog, and later joined by Warren Haynes, Bernie Worrell, Trombone Shorty and more......Check out the write-up in Offbeat Magazine
