Here are some shots from the Royal Southern Brotherhood's first couple shows last week at the Katharine Hepburn CAC ("The Kate") in Old Saybrook, CT and Infinity Hall in Norfolk ,Conn. Fortunately I was able to get back on the road after having all my camera equipment stolen in Atlanta along with Mike Zito's Guitar and countless other items....As they say “the show must go on”, thankfully I was able to rent some equipment to shoot an April Magazine cover for the band. Needless to say the shows were fantastic, gathering the momentum of a mack truck driving down the highway each show. Before the band even hit Hartford the second day the buzz was out, Art Tipaldi, editor of Blues Revue, wrote “My favorite albums from the late 1960s were the Super Session recordings by Al Kooper and Michael Bloomfield. The Royal Southern Brotherhood is the 2012 version of that supergroup. This may be the hottest new band on the circuit.”...you can read the rest at this link...
