On day 2 of the Royal Southern Brotherhood's “Tennessee Swing” we played at the Young Avenue Deli in Memphis, a pretty damn cool venue. Talked with a lot of people prior to the show and was repeatedly told that they were there to see what all the buzz was about, they had already done their research, read articles about the band and were ready for a taste of it live. The crowd was pretty decent , consisting of a lot of “hi IQ music lovers” who had a real good idea what they were in for that night. Funny how it works but the band put on one of its more venomous performances of the TN Swing that night from my perspective.....and for certain the crowd received exactly what they came there for, and more...Johnny Sansone remained on the bill, opening for RSB and joining them later in the evening to play a couple tunes off his latest CD, "THE LORD IS WAITING AND THE DEVIL IS TOO". RSB is on an extensive tour right now to check www.royalsouthernbrotherhood.com for when they will be in your hood, don't miss these guys if they are in your area! Enjoy the pics!
The show in Memphis was killer! Sat at the bar right in front the stage and witnessed some great music. Also me the band and an awesome photograrher.
