To my delight, I have been hearing rumblings to the effect that Tommy Malone has been cutting some new demos recently. If theres one thing I miss a lot it's the timeless Subdudes shows back in the day along with that signature and most unique soulful raspy voice of Tommy Malone. Thats one thing about the music down here, Cyril Neville, Art Neville, JD Hill, you get the message, all these guys have one of a kind voices that transcend the songs they sing. Tommy's got one of those to go along with amazing guitar work and the meaningful lyrics, old and new. Last night among many others I was treated to an old Subdudes classic “Tell Me What's Wrong” which blew me away, along with the rest there.
