The long and winding road for Papa Grows Funk came to an end last night with a sold out, nothing less that stellar and powerful performance at Tipitinas. Allen Toussaint even came by to tip his hat to the band on stage and hung around for a good bit afterwards, really a special evening for my friend John Gros, the band and everyone lucky enough to get in.
