Johnny Sansone at Snug Harbor in New Orleans

I caught a great show with Johnny Sansone over at Snug Harbor right before Mardi Gras a couple weeks ago, really filled up that room with his powerful harp playing, backed up by a great band including one of my favorite piano players Bob Andrews….While in Colorado with the VOW Allstars in early February, I also had the opportunity to listen to an unmastered copy of Johnny’s new cd coming out around Jazz Fest, some of his most powerful stuff to date and in my opinion one of his best, a real treat!! Be on the look out for this one…..
