Boukman Eksperyans at CONGO SQUARE NEW WORLD RHYTHMS FESTIVAL 2014Workin on a tip from good friend Papa Mali who laid this description on me...."Great band from Haiti at 4pm, Boukman Eksperyans...12 piece voodoo dance trance music"....., that's more than enough info for me as I needed a break from some work in the studio anyway....... I biked on over to the CONGO SQUARE NEW WORLD RHYTHMS FESTIVAL 2014 boukman_eksperyans_congo_square_rhythms_fest_jm_032214_001Workin on a tip from good friend Papa Mali who laid this description on me...."Great band from Haiti at 4pm, Boukman Eksperyans...12 piece voodoo dance trance music"....., that's more than enough info for me as I needed a break from some work in the studio anyway....... I biked on over to the CONGO SQUARE NEW WORLD RHYTHMS FESTIVAL 2014 to catch an amazing late afternoon set with Boukman Eksperyans from Haiti , just what the dr. ordered...........Apparently from the looks of the weather, this crazy winter that we have had has loosened it's grips and appears to be fading into the beautiful and warm festival season weather we all know and love.......The Festival continues today at Congo Square from 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Louis Armstrong Park. I didn't really feel like taking pics yesterday but did reel of a bakers dozen for posterity.........Festival Season is officially upon us folks.......go out and getcha some!!!!
